Beauty Spot – Top Wedding Hair and Make up tips
So you’ve booked your venue and you’ve chosen the perfect dress. Next is to find the perfect hairstyle to complment your day.
Firstly, I recommend putting a mood board together of all your favourite hairstyles. Seeing the hair next to the images of your dress, flowers and decorations will really give you an idea of how it will all gel together Take a look at my boards for some inspiration at www.pinterest.com/kittyboocollins
When looking at hairstyles, be realistic. Unless your hair holds its shape well, or you much prefer to wear your hair down, then I would recommend having an up do, or half up, for all day long durability. If your hair doesn’t keep a curl for very long, then steer clear of curls, and if your hair is fine, then maybe look into styles that can add volume and height.
I think that the theme of your wedding and the style of your dress play a big part in the decision making your hairstyle.
If you’re having a relaxed, boho style summer wedding, you may want to have your hair flowing freely or braided beautifully and accessorised with flowers. A quirky wedding with retro touches calls out for a vintage do to add a fun and classic touch to your day. If you’re going for a more formal wedding, a sleek up do or chignon oozes elegance.
